Peter brings over 28 years of in-house legal experience with a multinational energy company, during which he has worked on major upstream and downstream energy project developments and transaction across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Peter was the Head of Legal for Shell Australia and a director of the Shell Australia companies, and for the last 10 years was the lead lawyer on some of Shell's most complex acquisitions and divestments in Australia and the Asia-Pacific.

These experiences have given him clear insights into how deal teams, senior management and boards can make effective decisions on major transactions, and what they need from their lawyers to make them. He combines strong legal strong legal judgement with practical commercial thinking.

Peter has established Pelorum Advisory to bring his experience directly to businesses undertaking major transactions. He will be your in-house transaction lawyer who understands your business, gets to know your decision-makers and works side by side and from within your organisation to get the deal done.

Peter is admitted as a lawyer in Western Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Commerce from the University of Melbourne, a graduate diploma in applied finance and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
